Fauza Foundation is committed to empowering women and breaking the cycle of poverty in communities, both physically and mentally, through its core action pillars. The foundation champions women supporting women by providing educational support, including tuition fees and stationery, to ensure access to learning opportunities. It also addresses periodic Menstruation by offering Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) products, ensuring that menstruation does not hinder girls' and women's progress. Economic empowerment is another key focus, with initiatives such as tailoring, beekeeping, and support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to create sustainable livelihoods. Additionally, Fauza Foundation provides mentorship for mothers, offering financial, emotional, psychological, and mental support to help them navigate life’s challenges and achieve stability. Through these initiatives, the foundation fosters self-sufficiency, dignity, and a brighter future for women and their communities.

My name is John Kibe, I was born in Korogocho but raise in Dandora phase one to a single mother Joyce. I started school at the age of three years where I went to a school called Triumph Education Center. When I reached one, I went to Wangu primary school. I worked hard in class eight and scored 308 marks in the Kenya certificate of primary education exams. During joining secondary school, a lady from our church helped me to join Dandora secondary school because my mother could not afford the to pay for my fees. The lady from church helped me buy my school uniform and books. I am grateful for that.
I live with my mother and my younger brother. My mother does handy jobs, washing people’s clothes, so we can have food on the table. I am happy to have her as my mom when I see how she works hard and all the efforts she puts in for us to have the basics, it empowers me to work hard in school. I am grateful for the Foundation for the support. This opportunity has helped me realize a dream come true of staying at school. I hope to pay back to the society when I am saucerful in life. Thank you God bless you.
